Valravn's Field

HOLY CRUD IT'S MY FIRST DECENT PICTURE IN LIKE HALF A YEAR. So here, have a pretty, spooky picture to kick off October! This is one of the shapeshifted forms of an RP character of mine, Soren Kjær.

He may look like your average winged wolf with too many eyes, but he's actually a valravn- an obscure Danish mythological critter that is essentially a spooky death raven that chills on battlefields and eats the dead. This is my artistic interpretation of one of the shapeshifted forms they can take, which is half wolf, half raven. Valravns get the ability to shift into that- as well as a human form- after they eat a baby. I mean how boss is that. O:

Pretty happy with this. Initially it was just a very rough character doodle to show his shapeshifted form (sadly, despite how cool it is, he rarely takes this form because of how conspicuous it is), but I decided I liked it and added a background and pushed it to completion. Might have to draw him more, we'll see!
